Brand book and guidelines
Brand guidelines that let anyone use the brand right: your team, agencies and printers. As a document or online.
Brand book
A brand book shows how to use the logo, colours, typefaces and graphic elements, with examples of what to do and what not to do. It saves time whenever new material is made and protects the brand from accidental changes.
The Octella and Realto brand books are online, like a website: the latest version is always there, and the link can simply be sent to anyone who needs it.
I can make a brand book for a new identity, or put the rules in order for a brand that already exists.

How I work
Understand the business
We start with a conversation about the company, the audience and the goals.
Define the real problem
We pin down what the design actually has to solve.
Concept and direction
I propose an idea and a visual direction that we agree on before production.
Design and delivery
I design the work and hand over files that are easy to use.
Questions
What is a brand book?
A document or website with the rules for using a brand: logo, colours, typefaces, graphic elements and examples. Also called brand guidelines or a style guide.
Why an online brand book?
It does not have to be sent around as a file: everyone sees the same, latest version, and can download the logo and other files from it straight away.
Can you make a brand book for an existing brand?
Yes. I put in order what is already there and write down the rules, so the brand looks the same everywhere from then on.
